Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the law on the introduction of the digital ruble in the country.
According to the decree signed by Putin, the use of the digital ruble will begin in Russia.
According to the decree, which envisages the use of the Russian ruble digitally in addition to cash and non-cash uses, transactions in the new ruble format will be possible through the new electronic platform to be established.
The decree stated that the platform in question will be managed by the Central Bank of Russia.
