Japan has implemented restrictions on the export of 23 materials used in chip making. The said restrictions aim to limit China’s production of high-tech chips for military purposes.
Japan’s restrictions on the export of advanced chipmaking equipment to China have come into effect.
According to the news of Kyodo News, the export restrictions, which Japan announced that it will implement as part of the US-led efforts to restrict China’s production of high-tech chips for military purposes, have been put into effect.
In this context, Japan permits the export of 23 materials used in chip making.
It is expected that around 10 companies producing these materials in the country will be affected by these restrictions.
