The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Tokyo rose to 3.2 percent in July.
The consumer price index in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, increased by 3.2 percent year-on-year in July, slightly above the 3.1 percent recorded in the previous month.
Core inflation in Tokyo, which excludes fresh food prices, came in at 3 percent, slightly above the 2.9 percent expected by the surveyed economies, but below the 3.2 percent in June.
