Wholesale goods stocks in the USA decreased by 0.4 percent on a monthly basis in March, in line with expectations.
The US Department of Commerce announced March data on wholesale goods stocks and sales.
Accordingly, wholesale goods stocks decreased by 0.4 percent in March compared to the previous month, reaching 894.7 billion dollars.
Wholesale goods stocks, which decreased in line with market expectations, increased by 0.2 percent in February.
Stocks decreased by 2.3 percent in March compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the same period, wholesale goods sales in the country decreased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month and reached 662.8 billion dollars.
Wholesale sales increased by 2 percent in February.
Wholesale sales increased by 1.4 percent on an annual basis in the same period.
