JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said that the economy is growing but the risk of ‘stagflation’ continues.
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said Tuesday that the American economy remains strong but could enter a period of “stagflation.”
At the Economic Club of New York, Dimon said attention should be paid to “stagflation,” an economic condition characterized by high inflation and unemployment as well as slowing growth. Despite this concern, the American economy continues to grow, he said.
The bank’s manager also said the current geopolitical situation was probably the “most complex and dangerous” since the Second World War.
