Composite PMI in the Eurozone is above expectations
Composite PMI in the Eurozone was 51.7 in April, above expectations. The data in question was the highest reading since May 2023.
HCOB (Hamburg Commercial Bank) April 2024 manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data prepared by S&P Global has been announced.
Accordingly, the final service PMI in the Euro Zone was announced as 53.3 in April. During this period, services PMI was estimated to be 52.9. The final service PMI was 52.9 in March.
On the other hand, the final composite PMI in the Eurozone was 51.7 in April, above expectations. The data in question was the highest reading since May 2023.
The final composite PMI was expected to be announced at 51.4. The data in question was 51.4 in March.
In the German manufacturing sector, which constitutes more than one fifth of the German economy, April composite PMI was 50.6, above expectations. On the other hand, in France, the composite PMI data, which was above expectations, was announced as 50.5.
While the composite PMI announced as 52.6 in Italy was above the expectations, the same data was 55.7 in Spain.
