Twitter: TweetDeck will be exclusive to subscribers with ‘blue ticks’

In the statement made by Twitter, it was announced that the TweetDeck feature of the social media platform, which has more advanced features, will only be available to subscribers who pay a subscription fee.

Access to the TweetDeck platform, which includes Twitter’s advanced features, will be available only to paid subscribers from August.

In the statement made by the social media platform, it has announced that the updated version of the TweetDeck application with new features will be available from August and will only be available to users with a blue tick who pays a monthly subscription fee of 8 dollars.

Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino, the owner of the platform, have made many features, including Twitter’s iconic account verification sign known as the “blue tick”, exclusive to subscribers who pay a certain fee in recent months, in order to prevent the decrease in advertising revenues.

The turmoil since Musk took over the platform has created an opportunity for competitors to catch disgruntled users, while Meta Platforms is reportedly preparing to launch a competing product as soon as this week.
