After test trials, Microsoft plans to open the artificial intelligence chatbot to the experience of all users of Apple Safari and Google Chrome.

“We are providing access to Bing Chat in Safari and Chrome to select users as part of our testing on other browsers. We are excited to expand access to even more users once our standard testing procedures are complete,” said Caitlin Roulston, Microsoft Global Communications Director. said.

According to those who have access to the Bing AI chatbot on Windows, they have received a popup in the Windows 10 or 11 taskbar offering the opportunity to try Bing AI in Chrome. Alternatively, users can navigate to Bing.com in their preferred browser and then click on the “Chat” icon to try this experience. There are some limitations to using Bing Chat on Chrome and Safari. While there is a 4,000 word limit when using Bing in Edge, this has been reduced to 2,000 in other browsers.

The company also didn’t share much details about when the expansion to other browsers started, which platforms are supported, or whether the tests will cover users in global markets.
