Jack Dorsey leaves Bluesky board

Jack Dorsey, formerly known as Twitter’s founder, left the board of directors of social media platform Bluesky. The decentralized social network Bluesky, which was launched as a project by the Twitter team at the time in 2019, left the board of directors, a user on X asked, “Are you still on the board of Bluesky?” he announced by answering the question “No”. Bluesky is led by Jay Graber, who has been CEO since 2021. Bluesky, which went public in February, has over 4 million users.

Dorsey said that he left the board of directors of the decentralized social network Bluesky, which was launched as a project by the Twitter team at the time in 2019. A user on X asked, “Are you still on the board of Bluesky?” he announced by answering the question “No”.

In the statement made by Bluesky, Dorsey was thanked and the departure was confirmed. The company announced that it is looking for a new board member who “shares our commitment to building a social network where users can take control of their experiences.”

Bluesky is led by Jay Graber, who has been CEO since 2021. Neither Bluesky nor Dorsey has commented on how or why he left the board. For now, two board members remain, CEO Jay Graber and Jeremie Miller. Bluesky, which went public in February, has over 4 million users.
