In the statement made by Arçelik, it was announced that a contract was signed for the purchase of Whirlpool’s two subsidiaries, established in the UAE and Morocco, by Beko.
In the statement, it was reported that a total of 20 million euros are expected to be paid for the purchase.
The two companies operate in the field of sales and marketing of white goods in the MENA region.
The completion of the transaction is expected to take place in the second half of 2023, with the establishment of a partnership under the control of Arçelik for Whirlpool Corporation and Arçelik’s European operations, in which Whirlpool has a minority stake.
