It was stated that xAI is a separate company from X Corp, but will work closely with X (Twitter), Tesla and other companies to make progress towards the company’s mission.
Elon Musk was among more than a thousand people who signed an open letter in March demanding that the development of advanced artificial intelligence robots be suspended until common safety protocols for artificial intelligence robot designs are developed and implemented and audited by independent experts.
In April, Musk announced that he would launch a platform called “TruthGPT” to challenge artificial intelligence chatbots developed by Microsoft and Google.
