Apple announced the new iPad Pro

Apple announced new versions of its iPad Air and iPad Pro tablet computers.

Apple said the iPad Pro, Apple’s most expensive and advanced tablet, will come in two sizes, an 11-inch model and a 13-inch model. The company described the 5.1-millimeter-thick product as its thinnest yet.

Among the new models to be released, the smaller iPad Pro will be available for $999, while the larger 13-inch model with 256 GB of storage will be available for $1,299.
The iPad Pro will sit in a new chassis that Apple calls the Magic Keyboard, which is made of aluminum and pairs the tablet with a keyboard and trackpad. Apple said using the case will feel similar to the laptop experience of using an iPad Pro, meaning it will be “just like a MacBook.”
The price of the Magic Keyboard will be $249 or $299, depending on its size. Apple also announced an updated stylus called Apple Pencil Pro for $129.
The new iPad models use a new Apple chip called M4, which is an update to the M3 chips that currently power Apple’s laptops. Apple said the M4 chip is “an extremely powerful chip for AI.”
