Famous investor Bill Gross: Avoid tech stocks
Bill Gross says investors should avoid tech stocks.
Bill Gross had some advice for investors Thursday as Treasuries and stocks tumbled following some worrying U.S. economic data. “Stick to value stocks, avoid tech for now,” Gross said.
Gross, once known as the bond king, wrote in a post on social media platform X that investors should buy Microsoft Corp. if they have to deal with technology companies.
Gross noted that the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury bonds “rose to 4.75 percent,” not far above Thursday’s peak of 4.74 percent, the highest level this year.
