Netflix’s number of subscribers increased by 37 million in the first quarter of the year
The number of subscribers of the global internet television network Netflix increased by approximately 37 million people in the first quarter of 2024.

Accordingly, the company’s revenue in the first quarter of the year increased by approximately 15 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 9.4 billion dollars, due to membership increases and pricing. The company’s revenue was recorded as 8.2 billion dollars in the same period last year.
The company’s net profit reached 2.3 billion dollars in the first quarter, an increase of approximately 79 percent compared to the same period last year. Netflix’s net profit in the first quarter of last year was 1.3 billion dollars.
The company’s earnings per share increased from $2.88 to $5.28 in the same period.
The number of Netflix subscribers increased by approximately 37 million people in the first quarter of the year. The company’s number of subscribers worldwide increased to 269.6 million.
Announcing its predictions for the second quarter of the year, Netflix noted that it expects its revenue to be 9.5 billion dollars and its net profit to be approximately 2.1 billion dollars.
