Meta’s revenue increased in the second quarter of the year

Revenue of Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, rose 11 percent to $32 billion in the second quarter of this year.

Meta’s net profit also rose 16 percent to $7.8 billion in the second quarter of this year. The company reported a net profit of $6.7 billion in the second quarter of 2022.

The company’s earnings per share, which was $2.46 in the second quarter of 2022, reached $2.98 in the same period of this year.

The number of daily and monthly active users of Facebook under the umbrella of Meta continued to increase during this period.

The number of daily active users of Facebook increased by 5 percent year-on-year to 2.06 billion as of June. The number of monthly active users of the social networking site increased by 3 percent to 3.03 billion in the same period.

“We have an exciting roadmap”
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they had a good quarter and that they continue to see strong interaction in their applications.

Zuckerberg stressed that with Llama 2, Threads, Reels, new AI products, and Quest 3 launching this fall, they have “the most exciting roadmap” he’s seen in a while.
