Apple tests Apple GPT

In the ongoing artificial intelligence war between technology companies, Apple has started to develop and test its own artificial intelligence robot, Apple GPT. The US company has also recently hired many experienced engineers with experience in artificial intelligence.

In the ongoing artificial intelligence war between technology companies, the eyes are turned to the US technology giant Apple.

After the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard and Microsoft’s Bing AI, Apple did not lag behind its competitors in conducting a study on this technology and began testing its own artificial intelligence tool, Apple GPT.

Some engineers of the tech giant have created a chatbot that they call “Apple GPT”.

The report says that Apple has created its own framework, codenamed “Ajax”, for building large language models, which are AI-based systems that support offerings like Open AI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. Apple leverages Ajax to build large language models and form the basis of the built-in ChatGPT-style tool.

Job postings posted
Apple GPT is currently only being tested with a certain audience. However, the technology giant company does not plan to offer the chatbot it is developing in a short time, despite the test.

Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that the company is looking closely at artificial intelligence technologies and stated that there is a wide area. The US company has also recently recruited many veterans in the field of artificial intelligence. The report comes at a time when Apple is looking for manufacturing artificial intelligence talent. The company has posted job postings on its careers page, seeking experts in productive AI. The postings said looking for engineers with “a solid understanding of broad language models and generative AI.”

Limitations have been introduced.
Companies are cautious about the disclosure of their secrets, putting some restrictions on their employees. Apple has previously restricted the internal use of tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft-owned GitHub’s Copilot.

Because companies that develop artificial intelligence tools have models they have developed to prevent abuse. While it is thought that the biggest factor in Apple’s decision to take this decision may be security vulnerabilities, the leak event of Samsung came to mind.
