Musk’s message ‘we will be closed if we do not follow the laws’

US businessman Elon Musk said that access to the platform may be restricted if Twitter does not comply with the laws of local governments.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Tesla CEO Musk in New York as part of his US visit.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Musk stated that India has a promising future, and that Tesla will be in India as soon as possible, but he is waiting for the right time.

Musk noted that he is interested in the Indian market and is excited about the future of the country.

Pointing out that Twitter must comply with local laws in the countries where it operates, Musk said, “If we do not comply with the laws of local governments, we will be shut down. So the best thing we can do is to work lawfully in any country. If we do not do this, we will be blocked or arrested.” he said.
Stating that they cannot force the whole world to become the USA, Musk said, “We will do our best to provide the best possible freedom of expression within the framework of the law.” said.
