The Competition Board decided to open an investigation against Google on the charge of infringing competition.
An investigation decision was made in the preliminary investigation of the Competition Board on Google.
According to the announcement made by the Competition Board, Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Advertising and Marketing Ltd. Şti., the preliminary investigation was concluded by the Competition Board on the allegation that the economic integrity of the company violated Article 6 of the Law No. 4054, with regard to online display advertising and advertising technology services activities.
Discussing the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary research at its meeting on May 18, 2023, the Competition Board found the findings serious and sufficient and decided to open an investigation against the company.
